Reminder: The Good Buy/Good-Bye Book-Yellow
Over the last 7 years, we have featured lots of colors in this series including green, orange, red and pink, black and white, periwinkle and purple, Barbie pink, gold, brown, peach, blue, and gray, but somehow we have neglected yellow.
Since yellow gives me all sorts of happy summer vibes, we decided it was time to showcase this bright, cheerful color for our July edition of The Good Buy/Good-Bye Book.
What is The Good Buy/Good-Bye Book?
The Good Buy/Good-Bye Book is a monthly series hosted by Nancy of Nancy’s Fashion Style and myself. Every month, we invite you to share a photo or two of your Good (or Bad) Buy items that fit the stated theme. We ask that you also provide a short description explaining if the item you are sharing was a Good Buy or one that you will be saying Good-Bye to (formerly known as Bad Buys). Nancy and I will both publish a round up post featuring all of the submissions on the 15th of each month.
Remember anyone who would like to participate and be featured can send us their photos with a brief description via email. You do not have to be a blogger to join. You just need a camera and an email address! We will give you the theme for the next month at the conclusion of each post.
Everyone is invited to join us in July to share your favorite (or least favorite) Yellow Things. All you have to do is snap a photo or two and email us with a short description so you can be featured in our Good Buy/Good-Bye Book on July 15, 2025.
Yellow used to be a color that did not flatter me. But as age has changed my complexion, I am finding myself more and more drawn to various shades of yellow. Let’s check out the yellow things in my wardrobe.

Shelbee, this is such an entertaining post! It was so much fun to see your outfits with yellow all the way back to 2018. Also, to see the progression of your hair growing, from short to long over the years. I have a very paltry amount of yellow in my wardrobe, the two pieces I sent for the July challenge are about all of it!Hope you are having a good week!
