Reminder: The Good Buy/Good-Bye Book-Little Black Dresses & #SpreadTheKindness Link Up On the Edge #754
May we see your favorite (or least favorite) Little Black Dresses for May?
What is The Good Buy/Good-Bye Book?
The Good Buy/Good-Bye Book is a monthly series hosted by Nancy of Nancy’s Fashion Style and myself. Every month, we invite you to share a photo or two of your Good (or Bad) Buy items that fit the stated theme. We ask that you also provide a short description explaining if the item you are sharing was a Good Buy or one that you will be saying Good-Bye to (formerly known as Bad Buys). Nancy and I will both publish a round up post featuring all of the submissions on the 15th of each month.
Remember anyone who would like to participate and be featured can send us their photos with a brief description via email. You do not have to be a blogger to join. You just need a camera and an email address! We will give you the theme for the next month at the conclusion of each post.
Everyone is invited to join us in May to share your favorite (or least favorite) Little Black Dresses. All you have to do is snap a photo or two and email us with a short description so you can be featured in our Good Buy/Good-Bye Book on May 15, 2025. Due to some scheduling issues, we need your photos by May 7, 2025, to be included.
The little black dress has long been a wardrobe essential for most women. The quintessential little black dress can be dressed up or down for nearly any occasion depending on how you style and accessorize it. I have always been a fan of the little black dress. Like most other wardrobe pieces that I am a fan of, I have accumulated an assortment of little black dresses. Not every little black dress is the same and it never hurt me to own more than one! Let’s have a look at my collection of LBD styles.

And that, my friends, is a decade’s worth of little black dresses. I hope that adequately showcases the versatility of the little black dress!
If you would like to share your Little Black Dresses with us, please send your photos and descriptions to shelbeeontheedge@gmail.com or to info@nancysfashionstyle.com by the 7th of May so we can put you in the spotlight. You are welcome to send two photos if you’d like to be featured on both blogs.

Oh Shelbee, what fun to see this progression of your style! I love seeing your evolution, and all the ways you have incorporated a little black dress into your outfits over the past 10 years. That is quite an impressive archive. Thanks for sharing and hosting the link up and I hope you have a great weekend!

Aww, thanks so much, Di! I had a fun time looking back at my evolution as well. It is funny how much we change over the years. You don’t notice it so much from day to day but when you look back over the years, it’s kind of mind blowing! Thanks for joining us for this round!

Wow, that is a LOT of black dress inspiration! I don’t currently have one so it’s gonna be a “good bye” if I can find a photo from a past dress.

I have more little black dresses than any woman needs! You are the second one to say you don’t have any little black dresses so now I am thinking that they are not quite as essential as they used to be. I am definitely losing touch living my hermit life!

You have so many cute little black dresses! I looked in my closet but I don’t seem to have any. I know I used to but I can only assume they got purged at some point.

Thanks, Joanne! You are definitely in the minority not having at least one little black dress. But maybe the little black dress isn’t as essential as it once was. I don’t really know. I don’t get out much these days! LOL

I have been steering away from black in recent years myself. But I always keep a few little black dresses on hand!
