Reminder: The Good Buy/Good-Bye Book-Wrap Dresses

The holidays are here, bringing with them many opportunities for dressing up! So for December’s edition of The Good Buy/Good-Bye Book, we are featuring Wrap Dresses, which is a generic term referencing any dress that forms a front closure by wrapping one side across the other and securing it either in the back or on the side, usually forming a vee neckline. Wrap dresses that come already permanently fastened are called faux wrap dresses. You are welcome to share any kind of dress that has a wrap style whether it is faux or real!

What is The Good Buy/Good-Bye Book?

The Good Buy/Good-Bye Book is a monthly series hosted by Nancy of Nancy’s Fashion Style and myself. Every month, we invite you to share a photo or two of your Good (or Bad) Buy items that fit the stated theme. We ask that you also provide a short description explaining if the item you are sharing was a Good Buy or one that you will be saying Good-Bye to (formerly known as Bad Buys). Nancy and I will both publish a round up post featuring all of the submissions on the 15th of each month.

Remember anyone who would like to participate and be featured can send us their photos with a brief description via email. You do not have to be a blogger to join. You just need a camera and an email address! We will give you the theme for the next month at the conclusion of each post.

Everyone is invited to join us in December to share your favorite (or least favorite) Wrap Dresses. All you have to do is snap a photo or two and email us with a short description so you can be featured in our Good Buy/Good-Bye Book on December 15, 2025.

As much as I love dresses (they do make up the majority of my wardrobe), wrap dresses are probably my least favorite style. I can never get them to wrap properly and my boobs always end up bursting out of the deep vee neckline that is formed. However, I might have a few traditional wrap dresses and I definitely have some faux wrap dresses that I can share for this round up of wrap dress inspiration.

If you have been inspired by my limited collection of (Faux) Wrap Dresses and want to join us for this round, please send your photos and descriptions to shelbeeontheedge@gmail.com or to info@nancysfashionstyle.com by the 10th of December so we can put you in the spotlight. You are welcome to send two photos if you’d like to be featured on both blogs. And be sure to invite any friends who may want to join us as well!
