A few weeks ago during Spring Break, my husband and I had the opportunity to go on an overnight date in Lake George and Saratoga Springs, New York. After we checked into our hotel in Lake George on a Friday afternoon, we changed out of our car clothes and then began the 30 minute drive to Saratoga Springs for dinner and a concert. When I was a child, I was kind of an ugly duckling. Actually, the word ugly is probably a bit too harsh. However, I was definitely awkward looking, I had no idea how to style my hair, my face hadn’t grown into my nose yet, I dressed funny, and I absolutely hated having my picture taken. It’s been a few weeks since I shared my last Adventures in Thrifting post featuring a preloved purple robe and a few days since I shared my purple monochromatic Easter outfit for winter weather. So I wanted to now share the purple and pink outfit that I actually wore for Easter.
