Reminder: The Good Buy/Good-Bye Book-Suede
This February, we are all about suede, a type of leather that features a fuzzy napped texture that is commonly used in jackets, handbags, footwear, and furniture upholstery. Like leather, you might also have some faux suede items to share. We don’t care which type of suede you share, we just want to see what you’ve got!
What is The Good Buy/Good-Bye Book?
The Good Buy/Good-Bye Book is a monthly series hosted by Nancy of Nancy’s Fashion Style and myself. Every month, we invite you to share a photo or two of your Good (or Bad) Buy items that fit the stated theme. We ask that you also provide a short description explaining if the item you are sharing was a Good Buy or one that you will be saying Good-Bye to (formerly known as Bad Buys). Nancy and I will both publish a round up post featuring all of the submissions on the 15th of each month.
Remember anyone who would like to participate and be featured can send us their photos with a brief description via email. You do not have to be a blogger to join. You just need a camera and an email address! We will give you the theme for the next month at the conclusion of each post.
Everyone is invited to join us in February to share your favorite (or least favorite) Suede things. All you have to do is snap a photo or two and email us with a short description by February 10, 2026, so you can be featured in our Good Buy/Good-Bye Book on February 15, 2026.
In my round up of suede things, be sure to look closely because it might be something as small a suede accessory, most likely footwear, but I’ll try to share close up photos of my suede shoes. Just click on the image to see the full blog post for that item. Hopefully, you will be inspired to find something suede in your closets to share are with us!

I had the coolest coat in the 70s…fringe, cool pockets. I often wonder what happened to it. I am sure I probably donated it. I don’t think I have any suede at all, but I’ll check for you, my friend!

Oooh, that coat sounds amazing! I bet you have a pair of shoes or a purse or even a belt in suede! Perhaps suede earrings or other jewelry, too? Get checking, my friend! LOL

Wow you have so many fabulous pieces of suede! I was surprised (once you got me looking) that I had quite a few pairs of faux suede shoes– far more than I had thought.
