Reminder: The Good Buy/Good-Bye Book-Joggers

I hope you all enjoyed the long Labor Day weekend. Now it is time to get back to laboring!

What is The Good Buy/Good-Bye Book?

The Good Buy/Good-Bye Book is a monthly series hosted by Nancy of Nancy’s Fashion Style and myself. Every month, we invite you to share a photo or two of your Good (or Bad) Buy items that fit the stated theme. We ask that you also provide a short description explaining if the item you are sharing was a Good Buy or one that you will be saying Good-Bye to (formerly known as Bad Buys). Nancy and I will both publish a round up post featuring all of the submissions on the 15th of each month. 

Remember anyone who would like to participate and be featured can send us their photos with a brief description via email. You do not have to be a blogger to join. You just need a camera and an email address! We will give you the theme for the next month at the conclusion of each post. 

Everyone is invited to join us in September to share your favorite (or least favorite) Joggers. All you have to do is snap a photo or two and email us with a short description so you can be featured in our Good Buy/Good-Bye Book on September 16, 2025. 

But first, what are joggers? They are basically sweatpants but the kind with elasticized bands at the ankles. In the fashion world, the term joggers has been expanded to include any style of pants that have elasticized bands at the ankles. They can been athletic wear, lounge wear, casual wear, and even dressy. Basically, if you have a pair of trousers with elastic ankle bands, you can call them joggers!

Now onto my joggers…For the most part, my joggers remain at home and out of sight. Except for maybe my neighbors’ sight. They see me in joggers all the time! However, most of the joggers that I have photographed and shared on my blog tend to be less athletic sweatpants and more just a style of pants with elasticized ankles.

While I don’t wear joggers of the sweatpants type very often, my husband and kids wear them all the time.

Even our Halloween skeleton has gotten in on the jogger action!
