Happy New Year! We are welcoming 2025 with a touch of grayish greys and you all are invited to join us.
What is The Good Buy/Good-Bye Book?
The Good Buy/Good-Bye Book is a monthly series hosted by Nancy of Nancy’s Fashion Style and myself. Every month, we invite you to share a photo or two of your Good (or Bad) Buy items that fit the stated theme. We ask that you also provide a short description explaining if the item you are sharing was a Good Buy or one that you will be saying Good-Bye to (formerly known as Bad Buys). Nancy and I will both publish a round up post featuring all of the submissions on the 15th of each month.
Remember anyone who would like to participate and be featured can send us their photos with a brief description via email. You do not have to be a blogger to join. You just need a camera and an email address! We will give you the theme for the next month at the conclusion of each post.
Everyone is invited to join us in January to share your favorite (or least favorite) Grayish Greys. All you have to do is snap a photo or two of something in any shade of gray and email us with a short description so you can be featured in our Good Buy/Good-Bye Book on January 15, 2025.
My life lately has been filled with vibrant colors instead of the neutral shades that I once preferred. But gray has always been one of my favorite neutrals. Even more so since I stopped dying my hair and my face is framed in gray. Let’s see what grayish grays I can dig up in my outfit archives.

A very happy new year to you and your family, Shelbee! It was fun to look back at so many of your outfits with a shade of the color gray in them! some years it is harder to find a good gray than others. I remember back in 2021, a shade of gray was one of the Pantone colors of the year, and gray was everywhere! I don’t have a lot in my wardrobe, but I will have to paw through and find what I have for the challenge. Thanks for a wonderful year of content, and looking forward to your posts in 2025!
