Reminder: The Good Buy/Good-Bye Book-Beachwear/Resort Wear & #SpreadTheKindness Link Up #286
As we near the end of summer, we decided to feature beachwear or resort wear for August’s Good Buy/Good-Bye Book. This includes swim suits and swim suit cover ups, sarongs, wraps, sundresses, or cut off shorts. Really anything you would wear to the beach or to a summer resort vacation. You can even share your favorite (or least favorite) beach bag, sun hat, or other summer accessories. We have no rules here really, we just want you to play along!
What is The Good Buy/Good-Bye Book?
It is a monthly series that Nancy and I both publish on our blogs on the 15th of each month. Anyone who would like to participate and be featured can send us their photos with a short description explaining if the item was a Good Buy or one that you will be saying Good-Bye to. You do not have to be a blogger to join. Anyone is welcome. We will give you the theme for the next month in each post. Photos will be due to us by the 10th of the month. So please join us for August by sending some photos and descriptions of your favorite (or least favorite) Beachwear or Resort Wear to shelbeeontheedge@gmail.com or to info@nancysfashionstyle.com by August 10, 2022. You are welcome to submit more than one photo if you would like features on both of our blogs.
Now it’s time to dig into my archives for some examples of the theme. I don’t like the beach and I am not a frequent visitor to resorts of any kind, so I will be using my imagination for this one!
And there you have it. Some of my favorite swimwear and beachy, resort style outfits. I hope you are inspired to share some of your favorite (or least favorite) things with us this month as we begin to bid adieu to summertime. It is almost my favorite season of all…Back to School Season!

You have a lot of great beachy style outfits even if you aren’t really a beach person! I love relaxed beach style, but we don’t visit the beach nearly often enough – it can be quite an exhausting day running around with the two kids, haha!

Great swimwear! It must be nice having swim weather. Your post inspired me to link an old one from 2017. I can’t wait for summer! This afternoon, our house was 55 degrees F.

Thanks, Tina! We have had a pretty decent summer except for a few heat waves. But our heat waves are much less cooler than what has been happening in other places! I think we only broke into the 90s once or twice. 55 degrees is super cold indoors! It was 57 degrees this morning when I went outside to read on my front porch. It was too cold so I had to come back in! I guess fall really is right around the corner for me! Stay warm, my friend!
