Reminder: The Good Buy/Good-Bye Book-Holiday Gifts
Let’s continue the holiday celebration by sharing our favorite (or least favorite) holiday gifts! But remember you can interpret our themes loosely. You can share a gift you have given or received, a gift that was purchased or handmade or regifted, a gift that is special to you or just makes you laugh. You don’t need to lock yourself into Christmas gifts either. You can share a birthday gift, an anniversary gift, a wedding gift, a Mother’s Day gift, or any kind of gift that was exchanged on a holiday. Remember you can also interpret holiday in whatever way suits you. Anything will do, we just want to see your gifts!
What is The Good Buy/Good-Bye Book?
The Good Buy/Good-Bye Book is a monthly series hosted by Nancy of Nancy’s Fashion Style and myself. Every month, we invite you to share a photo or two of your Good (or Bad) Buy items that fit the stated theme. We ask that you also provide a short description explaining if the item you are sharing was a Good Buy or one that you will be saying Good-Bye to (formerly known as Bad Buys). Nancy and I will both publish a round up post featuring all of the submissions on the 15th of each month.
Anyone who would like to participate and be featured can send us their photos with a short description via email. You do not have to be a blogger to join. Anyone is welcome! We will give you the theme for the next month at the conclusion of each post. Photos for Holiday Gifts will be due to us by the 10th of January.
In my regular monthly format, let’s get to the big round up of some of my favorite gifts that have appeared on my blog over the years.
To reiterate…you are invited to join us in January to share your favorite (or least favorite) Holiday Gifts. You are welcome to send two photos if you’d like to be featured on both blogs. Remember to include a brief description about your submissions. I am big into regifting my unwanted presents. But not so much regifting as passing forward to someone who will use it, appreciate it, or enjoy it more than I would. I usually inform both parties that it is a regift, too. Most people appreciate that kind of honesty and than everybody wins! I hope you had a most wonderful holiday season, my friend.
