The in-laws were visiting last week to attend Archie’s football game and we took full advantage of their stay by booking a weekend getaway in Troy, New York. Troy is a really quaint town of about 51,000 people located on the eastern bank of the Hudson River in the Capital District of New York State. It is approximately 140 miles southeast from where we live and took 3 hours to drive there. We were blessed with beautiful weather for the whole weekend and thoroughly enjoyed our driving time together as much as all the other things we did. I am feeling all sorts of witchy energy swirling about as the fall equinox is quickly approaching. Last week, I shared a whimsically witchy outfit in bright summer hues perfect for the final days of summer. However, the arrival of the equinox does not guarantee that the temperatures will begin to drop.
