Casual Holiday Outfit with Foxcroft & Link Up On the Edge #125

This is not a sponsored post.

Back in October, I had won a giveaway hosted by one of my favorite style icons, Dawn Lucy of Fashion Should Be Fun, and the prize was a $250 shopping spree from Foxcroft. I quickly added 5 gorgeous pieces to my shopping list and received them early in November. I featured two pieces in a Sunday Morning Quarterback post but have been saving the other 3 pieces for some festive holiday styling.

Top: Elena Luxe Velvet Tunic from Foxcroft
Jeans: Torrid Premium Stretch Boyfriend Jeans
Scarf: Old c/o Zaful
Coat: Charlotte Russe

As much as I love velvet, I actually have not worn much of it this season. I fell in love with the cabernet color of the Elena Luxe Velvet Tunic and the cute pleats on the back. The velvet is super soft and the color matched my new floral Saige Booties perfectly. Add in my favorite stretchy jeans, a cozy scarf, and a furry coat and it is quite simply the easiest outfit combination to throw together and walk out to most holiday functions feeling festive, stylish, and comfortable.

Boots: Saige Booties from ShoeDazzle

Bralette: Torrid Red Plaid Lace Bralette

I also picked up a gorgeous black burnout velvet top and white cropped denim from Foxcroft that I will be sharing on Thursday for the final post in The Holiday Series where we will be sharing our New Year’s Eve outfit ideas. And I paired these two pieces with the most amazing sequined booties! Stay tuned for that outfit next week.

I am going to keep this post short because frankly this week has downright kicked my ass! Let me tell you, working in retail during the holiday season is not for the faint of heart, the weak of mind, or the feeble of body. I am a pretty tough and determined woman and I am seriously about to collapse where I stand. All that being said, if my posts over the next week or two become sporadic or sparse, do not worry, I will be back to my normal way of things very soon! In the meantime, won’t you please check out the featured posts below and join the link party!

And now your featured favorites from last week.

Liz of Lizzie in Lace shared her post, How to Wear Over the Knee Boots with a Midi Dress. Not only is Liz rocking the tall boots with this gorgeous floral dress, she also has some great tips for wearing OTK boots if you are petite. And while Liz doesn’t wear black very often, this outfit is magnificently striking on her!

Julie of This Main Line Life shared her post, Gotta Love a Great Plaid. Yes, indeed, I do love a great plaid and Julie’s adorable pants feature my very favorite of all tartans, Blackwatch. Looking so gorgeous in green, Julie is holiday ready in this casual, cozy outfit.
