Emma chose this month’s thrifty theme…Inspired by Frida Kahlo, a Mexican painter known for her colorful self portraits and paintings depicting her experience with chronic pain. I cannot remember when I first learned about Frida and her impact on the art world. It was probably in some introduction to art history class some time during my schooling days. Maybe in middle school, high school, or even college. I do remember taking art and art history classes at each of those educational levels. Happy Friday, y’all! I am keeping it light and bright and easy today with a short post about the best tie dye pants ever. You have seen these twice before, here and here, but I have working them overtime this summer, wearing them at least twice a week in rotation with the other four pairs I have in different colorways. They are from one of my favorite hippy boutiques, Rainbow Zen, and they are the most comfortable trousers I own. Jane chose the colors of your soul for this month’s thrifty theme and what a thought provoking style challenge it has proven itself to be.
