The Good Buy/Good-Bye Book: Workout Wear & #SpreadTheKindness Link Up #301

This month’s exercise is next month’s health.

Welcome to The Good Buy/Good-Bye Book!

The Good Buy/Good-Bye Book is a series that I co-host with Nancy where you can choose whether you want to share a Good Buy (which is an item you are really exited about) or a Good-Bye (which is an item you are going to say good-bye to, previously known as a Bad Buy). Every month you can choose which item you want to submit, a Good Buy or a Good-Bye. We will provide the theme for each month. Photos should be submitted to us by the 10th of the month with a few sentences explaining why it is a Good Buy or Good-Bye.

The theme for November is Workout Wear where you all were invited to share your favorite (or least favorite) exercise clothes. Depending on how you choose to exercise, whether it is in the gym, in a pool, in your house, or in the great outdoors, we all wear something when we engage in these activities. Let’s check out what you all wear to workout.

*If you sent me a photo, but do not see it in my post, be sure to check Nancy’s post. If you don’t see your photo on either post, please let us know right away and we will add it. Sometimes the submissions can get lost in the shuffle.

“So these are the clothes I wear to the gym. Almost always Puma, as I just love it, and not very fashionable. I always cycle to the gym therefore it has to be warm. And I want my workout wear to be very comfortable! This is the gym I workout at. I always go there 45 minutes before the class starts, because otherwise a hour is too short for me. I love it when no one is there yet!”

“Here is one more of my favorites from Shein, the mesh is nice in the summer.”

“I love my Avia brand active pants that I found at Wal-Mart! While Old Navy leggings are my favorite, these are a close second. Excellent quality, and an excellent price as well. They are certainly a Good Buy for me. Aside from the great fit and elasticity – they also have side pockets! Score!”

“Last year, I aimed to be more active, so for my birthday, I bought myself a pair of rollerblades, and I thoroughly enjoy using them! Rollerblading offers a good cardio workout, and is great for strengthening the legs and glutes. Maintaining your posture, and upright position will also engage your core and back muscles. Overall, I think it’s really great, and I find it quite therapeutic. I put in my earbuds in while I’m riding, and jam out – literally! If you are near me when I’m rollerblading, you will hear me singing all the words to whatever song I’m listening to. HAHA! Seriously though, the music and the rollerblading just put me in a good mood! My rollerblades are Zetrablade brand Inline Skates, and they are a Good Buy for me. If you’re looking to get a pair, I definitely recommend these!”

“When I think of workout wear my mind immediately goes to hiking; since that it just about the only workout I’ve been doing lately. I found these new fleece lined hiking pants at the LL Bean outlet in early October when we were vacationing in Maine and I’ve already worn them 4 times. They are so comfy and so nice and warm. They were a good buy for sure. I pair them with various long sleeve shirts and boots but my favorite look is with a pale gray top and gray boots.”

“I have been loving the tennis skirts lately, and I think they can be worn for “normal” days and errands too. Like this one I’m showcasing. Which I definitely consider a Good Buy.”

And Me!
“I found these matching skull print leggings and sports bra a few years ago and they great for my yoga workouts as well as daily wear. I just layer on a tunic or sweater and I am ready for the day….
…They have a slight bit of compression which is great but does get too squeezy by the end of the day. Still a good buy though!”

Up Next: Hot Pink (or Barbiecore!)

For December’s Good Buy/Good-Bye Book, we are featuring Hot Pink (or Barbiecore). Have you heard of the Barbiecore trend? It really just makes me giggle, but I do love all the happy vibes that hot pink brings! We invite you to share with us your favorite (or least favorite) hot pink wardrobe pieces.

You are welcome to send two photos if you’d like to be featured on both blogs. Remember to include a brief description about your submissions. Please submit your photos and descriptions by the 10th of December to shelbeeontheedge@gmail.com or to info@nancysfashionstyle.com so we can put you in the spotlight.

*By joining The Good Buy/Good-Bye Book, you agree to receive a monthly reminder email for this series.
