Reminder: The Good Buy/Good-Bye Book-Sandals

I cannot believe the calendar has flipped to July already. Time sure does fly…whether you’re having fun or not! At least I can say that I’m having fun.

Won’t you join us for another edition of Good Buys and Good-Byes. Since we are now in the heart and heat of summertime, we are talking about the quintessential summer footwear, Sandals! And I just realized that we featured sandals last June as well. Oops! I suppose after 8 years of doing this series, we are bound to repeat some things. Even if you shared your sandals with us last summer, please do share them again!

Any sandals will do…flat ones, heeled ones, wedges or platforms. Flip-flops, slides, lace-ups or gladiators. Sandals with t-straps, toe rings, or sling backs. Huaraches, jellies, or espadrilles. If you call it a sandal, we want to share it with us!

What is The Good Buy/Good-Bye Book?

The Good Buy/Good-Bye Book is a monthly series hosted by Nancy of Nancy’s Fashion Style and myself. Every month, we invite you to share a photo or two of your Good (or Bad) Buy items that fit the stated theme. We ask that you also provide a short description explaining if the item you are sharing was a Good Buy or one that you will be saying Good-Bye to (formerly known as Bad Buys). Nancy and I will both publish a round up post featuring all of the submissions on the 15th of each month. 

Remember anyone who would like to participate and be featured can send us their photos with a brief description via email. You do not have to be a blogger to join. You just need a camera and an email address! We will give you the theme for the next month at the conclusion of each post. 

Everyone is invited to join us in July to share your favorite (or least favorite) Sandals. All you have to do is snap a photo or two and email us with a short description by July 10, 2026, so you can be featured in our Good Buy/Good-Bye Book on July 15, 2026.
