Reminder: The Good Buy/Good-Bye Book-Pastels

It is time once again to share your good buys or your good-byes with us! This time we are asking for Pastels in any colors that you choose. Pale hues are perfect for spring and summer so we want to see what you’ve got.

What is The Good Buy/Good-Bye Book?

The Good Buy/Good-Bye Book is a monthly series hosted by Nancy of Nancy’s Fashion Style and myself. Every month, we invite you to share a photo or two of your Good (or Bad) Buy items that fit the stated theme. We ask that you also provide a short description explaining if the item you are sharing was a Good Buy or one that you will be saying Good-Bye to (formerly known as Bad Buys). Nancy and I will both publish a round up post featuring all of the submissions on the 15th of each month. 

Remember anyone who would like to participate and be featured can send us their photos with a brief description via email. You do not have to be a blogger to join. You just need a camera and an email address! We will give you the theme for the next month at the conclusion of each post. 

Everyone is invited to join us in May to share your favorite (or least favorite) Pastels. All you have to do is snap a photo or two and email us with a short description by May 10, 2026, so you can be featured in our Good Buy/Good-Bye Book on May 15, 2026. 

While I much prefer more saturated jewel tones or deep earthy colors, I do have some lovely Pastels in my wardrobe, but I often combine them with darker or brighter hues because it suits me better. Let’s have a look…but look closely for the pastel colors incorporated into my richer and darker colored outfits.

I think that is enough pastel inspiration for now. Apparently, I have way more pastel pieces than I thought!
