How Bold Are You? There is a revolution on the horizon…it is moving in fast like a storm, a beautiful, astonishing, powerful, wonderful storm. Chico’s current initiative is challenging women everywhere to stand proud and bold in their years of acquired wisdom. Age is nothing but a compilation of your many fantastic, painful, marvelous, awesome experiences on this earth. And it is time for us stand firmly in the dignity of our years. For it is those years that have taught us everything that we know. And the more years we have in our arsenal of experience, the more fulfilled and appreciative we become of all the years yet to be experienced.

When I first joined the Forever Fierce Revolution over a year ago, it was designated as the Fierce 50 Movement. This inspiring group of over 50 women were so kind as to include me and I sort of felt like I was cheating a little. Like I was getting all of this valuable and empowering information from women who have traveled the road into midlife that I was just embarking upon. I have traveled many roads in my life and all too often I was blind without direction or a road map. And now suddenly, I found myself on the verge of this new journey into midlife and there was this group of women who were very unselfishly handing me a detailed road map. Oh my word, how I was thanking my great good fortune for their generosity.

Fast forward to a year later, the group changed its name to The Forever Fierce Revolution so as to include all women of any age who want to tackle life and its obstacles in the most magnificent way…supporting each other! Suddenly, I found myself not just a part of this group, but a member of the group who has been invited to participate in all sorts of events to help spread this message: Here we are. We are strong. We are powerful. We are beautiful. And we are bold. At every age.
