The Gabriela Duster by Soft Surroundings & Spread The Kindness Link Up On the Edge #802
I have a few confessions. I am a shopaholic. I love clothing and accessories. I am a maximalist when it comes to personal style. And I am susceptible to advertisements featuring beautiful apparel…especially when said apparel is on sale. I honestly can’t remember where I first saw the ads for Soft Surroundings but I suspect it was on some social media platform. Social media seems to be overrun by ads these days. An Easter Outfit for Winter Weather & Spread The Kindness Link Up On the Edge #801
Easter is supposed to bring images of spring, prompting us to dress accordingly in our favorite warm weather apparel in soft pastels or bright joyful colors. But what do you do when it’s still winter on Easter? Well, obviously, you make some wardrobe adjustments. The most common colors used in Easter celebrations are purple, white, gold, and pastels. Since pastels are generally reserved for warm weather clothes, I leaned into bright, bold purples for my winter Easter outfit. Traditionally, the color purple has been associated with royalty and power, but in the context of the Easter holiday, it symbolizes the divinity of Jesus. The color also represents penance which is…
