Um…13? Say What?
My last born child is 13 today. How? Just how? Time truly does fly by in the blink of an eye.
Happy Birthday, Ralph!
He is smart and funny, gifted in academics, athletics, and music, and stubborn as a mule. He challenges me in many ways but makes me proud in many more. He came into the world screeching like a pterodactyl and he is still making all kinds of noise. Sometimes it’s lively piano music and sometimes it more resembles the screech of a banshee, but as long as he’s making noise I know he is healthy and happy!
I went digging through old Facebook photos to create a “Best of Ralph & Family: The Past 13 Years” photo montage. Enjoy!
I’ll have a house full of kids this weekend celebrating Ralph with us. Wish me luck!

Happy Birthday, Ralph! He sounds like a fun kiddo who knows his own mind. I loved looking through your montage and seeing all the iterations of Ralph (and your whole family). He really looks like he has a very gentle soul (even though he sounds like a pterodactyl)! But, I have to comment on the photo of Jeff with all the medals on his chest! Wowza! I don’t know that I’ve ever thanked him for his service. I try to do that when I see veterans. And, you look completely different with short hair, Shelbee! Anyway, I wish you well with your house full of testosterone!
