The Good Buy/Good-Bye Book: Western Boots

Welcome to The Good Buy/Good-Bye Book!

The Good Buy/Good-Bye Book is a monthly series hosted by Nancy of Nancy’s Fashion Style and myself. Every month, we invite you to share a photo or two of your Good (or Bad) Buy items that fit the stated theme. We ask that you also provide a short description explaining if the item you are sharing was a Good Buy or one that you will be saying Good-Bye to (formerly known as Bad Buys). Nancy and I will both publish a round up post featuring all of the submissions on the 15th of each month.

Anyone who would like to participate and be featured can send us their photos with a short description via email. You do not have to be a blogger to join. Anyone is welcome! We will give you the theme for the next month at the conclusion of each post. Photos will be due to us by the 10th of the month.

For February, we are featuring my favorite footwear, Western Boots! Otherwise known as cowboy boots, but I’m a girl so I call them cowgirl boots when they are on my feet.

“I am more a fan of ankle cowgirl boots than taller ones. These have no zipper which makes them not the easiest boot to put on. But I think they are gorgeous and the colour is such a beautiful warm tone. And it looks incredible with black, which I wear a lot! It’s a very Good Bye!”

“I didn’t actually buy these red cowgirl boots. They were gifted to me for a collaboration with Country Outfitter back in 2019. For the last 5 years, they have been in constant rotation in my bohemian wardrobe. I love the red color and I love the white embroidery detail even more. Plus they are super comfortable as most cowgirl boots tend to be. Definitely a Good Buy without spending any money!”

I am thinking about things that remind me of the sunshine that will be coming soon with the start of the spring season. The colors of the sun or simply items that make you feel all bright and shiny like the sun would work for this theme. Remember you can interpret these themes in whatever ways that suit you.
