The Good Buy/Good-Bye Book: Cropped Sweaters

In the hopes that winter in March would be shorter, we featured Cropped (or Super Short) Sweaters for this month’s theme. Thank you so much to everyone who submitted photos this month. I always enjoy seeing what you are wearing!

The Good Buy/Good-Bye Book

The Good Buy/Good-Bye Book is a monthly series hosted by Nancy of Nancy’s Fashion Style and myself. Every month, we invite you to share a photo or two of your Good (or Bad) Buy items that fit the stated theme. We ask that you also provide a short description explaining if the item you are sharing was a Good Buy or one that you will be saying Good-Bye to (formerly known as Bad Buys). Nancy and I will both publish a round up post featuring all of the submissions on the 15th of each month.

Anyone who would like to participate and be featured can send us their photos with a short description via email. You do not have to be a blogger to join. Anyone is welcome! We will give you the theme for the next month at the conclusion of each post. Photos will be due to us by the 10th of the month. 

If you sent me a photo, but do not see it in my post, be sure to check Nancy’s post. If you don’t see your photo in either post, please let us know right away and we will add it. Sometimes the submissions get lost in the shuffle.

“I only wore this cropped cardigan with dresses. I have a fairly long torso, and cropped jumpers or cardigans don’t look good with trousers or a skirt on me. But I did love the cardigan, as it had gorgeous balloon sleeves, and stripes look great with everything. But this was a Good-Bye in the end as I did not wear it often enough.”

“This picture is a fuzzy textured ivory cardigan with tie fasteners. I am wearing it over a multicolor floral dress. I would say this cropped sweater was a good buy, because in the color ivory, it goes with almost everything. During the bridge, and warmer months it is a great one to pop over a sleeveless dress for a little extra warmth or coverage.”

“I thrifted this cropped cardigan sweatshirt and have worn it a ton…I love the shorter silhouette, especially with the looser, baggier pants we are seeing more of nowadays.
I’d definitely call this a Good Buy.”

“Here is my cropped cardigan. I am not sure if it was advertised as such, but I think it’s definitely more cropped than most of my others! It’s one of my favorite Gudrun Sjoden pieces!”

“I have had a few short or cropped sweaters over the years but they really don’t please me. I found this weird super cropped pullover turtleneck shrug-like sweater on a thrifting adventure a few years ago. It was such an odd and unique piece that I had to buy it. But I have only worn it once because it is really rather impractical. Not a Good Buy, but it takes up minimal space so I won’t say Good-Bye to it yet.”
