Have you heard of Cozy Earth yet? I have been seeing commercials and ads everywhere touting the benefits of these premium bamboo products that assist with creating a healthy and comfortable sleep environment with their temperature regulating bed linens and their super soft loungewear. My road to discovering the wonderful benefits of this brand is a rather serendipitous one and I would like to share it with you.

Back in the late winter and early spring months, I started seeing lots of blogger friends sharing posts about Cozy Earth loungewear. We were all still in stay at home mode and cute, comfortable, quality loungewear was the best thing to hit the style scene. Like many other women I know, I definitely began increasing my loungewear wardrobe during this time. I was always one who just downgraded old ratty tee shirts to the loungewear drawer never really bothering with any kind of actual loungewear style. Since I was spending a majority of my time in comfortable clothes at home, it was high time that I upgraded that part of my wardrobe.

Back in March, Kathrine Eldridge shared a wonderful post, Superior Soft Loungewear You Need from Cozy Earth, which really brought Cozy Earth onto my radar. As much as I loved her bamboo jogger lounge set, I wasn’t quite ready to spend the premium prices for new loungewear. However, I was in desperate need of a new comforter for my bed. We had recently disposed of our king size comforter because it was old and I never really liked it anyway. It was really thick and heavy in a damask type pattern that I found to be rather abrasive for a comfortable sleeping environment. My son wanted a new comforter for his queen size bed which we replaced and then I just tossed his queen sized comforter onto my king sized bed until I could decide on a new comforter.

When I started reading about the softness factor and the temperature regulating effects of Cozy Earth’s bamboo bedding products, I was sold. Since Kathrine had offered a 40% discount in her Cozy Earth post, I took that as a sign that now was the time for me to get a new king sized comforter. I quickly added the King Size All Season Bamboo Comforter to my cart, entered that discount code, and placed my order.

When my comforter arrived, I actually left it in the box for like two months because I wanted to makeover my bedroom before breaking out the new bedding. I haven’t gotten to my bedroom makeover yet and I was anxious to try this new temperature controlling blanket for better premenopausal sleeping so I just went for it (no photos of it on my bed though…because the makeover is necessary first)!

I don’t know if I can adequately convey how pleased I am with this amazing comforter! It is literally the softest thing I have ever slept on or beneath and the temperature regulating technology is very effective as well. As any over the moon customer might do, I took to the Cozy Earth website and wrote a glowing review of this product. I always try to make it a point to do that. I feel like people are so quick to write complaints but much less inclined to share their positive experiences. So whenever I have a really positive experience, I make sure to share it.

After sharing my review, Cozy Earth reached out to me and offered me a lounge tee shirt to collaborate with them on a Facebook project which I happily obliged. During our email exchange, I informed them that I was a blogger and had learned of their brand through Kathrine. I explained that I was hugely impressed with their product and would be happy to share my new lounge tee shirt on my blog since I had been wanting to share my comforter with you all anyway. This exchange resulted in my getting a complete set of loungewear tee shirt and jogger shorts.

I knew the loungewear would be brilliant just based off of the quality and softness of the comforter and I was not wrong. These are seriously the softest, most comfortable pieces I have ever draped over my body. I don’t know what else I can say about it except I would absolutely spend the premium price without a second thought on any of Cozy Earth’s products now. It is worth very single dollar spent!

I had tons of fun shooting the photos for this post although it was about 95˚F (35˚C) out that day and the mosquitoes and black flies were out in full force! But sometimes you have to suffer the elements to get the good photos!

    Oh I’m a sucker for good bedding, and I’ve heard such great things about bamboo. I have some bamboo socks and they’re unbelievably soft! I bet the loungewear is sooo comfortable. Have a great weekend Shelbee!

      Thanks so much, Michelle! With Kathrine’s discount code, I didn’t pay any more than I would have for some junky Target comforter that would make me sweat and probably fall apart in about a year or two. But now that I have experienced the luxury of the bamboo fabric, I would absolutely pay the premium price! And I don’t say that often!

    I have long used cotton flannel sheets (even in summer!). These sound intriguiging, might give them a try.
    Don’t know why, I seem to be having hot flashes again. Thought I was done with all that. Sigh.

      Oh my goodness, Anne! I can’t even stand flannel sheets even when I am freezing all winter long! I don’t really like the feel of flannel on my skin though. But these bamboo products! OH MY GOD. So soft and the comforter really does keep me cool when hot and warm when cold. I am sorry to hear your hot flashes are back. None of us deserve this hormonal nonsense!

    Quality bedding is, in my opinion, so worth it to splurge on. Hey, we spend 1/3 of our lives in bed, right?! I would have given this one a try, but I recently bought one we love from Slumber Cloud. And you totally scored with the shorts set, my friend!! I agree with you that I like to share great finds even when we don’t profit from doing so. Thanks for sharing. Oh, and loved the photos!! Very inspired!

    I love that kimono with the black loungewear, such a cosy and comfy outfit! I don’t have any bamboo bedding but do have a lot of bamboo pyjamas and clothes. Such a soft fabric and a dream to wear, especially on hot summer days!

    Oh, now I want to see your bedroom makeover! Love, love, love the photos with just the comforter (I’m assuming)! I have yet to try any bamboo type bedding. We just painted our bedroom and I’ve bought fabric to make a quilt…which I’ve never done before. I spend so much time in my bedroom…it’s my getaway place when I need to recharge. Some would stay it’s a bit overstuffed, but it’s also my style.

      Thanks so much, Marsha! Hehe I did still have my shorts on under the comforter…the bugs were way too aggressive for me to bare those parts! I love that you are making yourself a quilt! Some of my favorite bedding has been homemade quilts that I had received as gifts. I had two..one my mother made and one my aunt made and I used them both until they fell apart and were nothing but rags! My bedroom is my safe little getaway space, too, and we should decorate those spaces in whatever ways make us joyful and relaxed. I will definitely share my bedroom makeover when I get to it!     I’m loving the cozy earth products. We have a fab comforter we bought in South Africa. i have a range of leisure wear, but I do tend to change into pjs before I go to bed, just love loose fitting waistbands when I’m just hanging around the home.

      Thanks, Suzanne! There is nothing quite as good as luxurious bedding and loungewear! I am really loving the softness of the loungewear, too. But I don’t sleep in the loungewear either. Lately, it’s been naked sleeping for me! I just get too darn hot right now in the night so it’s just me wrapped up in the softness of my bedding!

    Oh how I love your photos, Shelbee! You look super cozy in that comforter (we call them duvets in the UK), and I’d never have known it was too hot and the area full of mozzies and flies lol. I haven’t bought anything in bamboo yet but I do keep hearing about it being the next big thing. I think Michael might have bought some bamboo socks that he likes though lol! I must check it out!

      Thank you, Suzy! OMG, I was dying in the heat. I was completely drenched with sweat by the time we finished! The bamboo fabrics really do live up to all the hype. I have never felt anything so soft other than maybe cashmere. In fact, I could liken it to the level of softness in cashmere but without the weight of wool. I am completely sold on these products and will be adding more to my wardrobe and home!
