Improve Your Understanding of Fitness Fast
Being fit is obviously a central and integral focus if you are trying to live your life in the healthiest way possible. But fitness is a highly personalized thing, so each individual should think about what you can do and which approaches to fitness are more likely to be successful for you. In order to develop the best fitness plan and goals for yourself, it is important first to increase your understanding of fitness in general, how it works, and how it can be improved. Once you have developed a general outline of your personal fitness goals as well as a deeper understanding of how proper fitness can help to maintain your health, you will find it becomes much easier to get to work. As you reevaluate your fitness goals, consider adding some of these fitness habits to your exercise regimen.
1. Exercise More
One simple way that you can improve your understanding of fitness is to make it a part of your daily routine. If you exercise more, you really do start to understand your body and its needs on a deeper level. If you currently do not exercise, be sure to ease your way gradually into a new routine to prevent the risk of injury. For example, you could try out the couch to 5k method to get into running or ease yourself into any other form of exercise that you prefer.
A great starting point for a new healthy routine could include vagus nerve exercises which will help to improve certain organ functions and reflex actions as well as contributing to parasympathetic stimulation to the heart. Easy and gentle exercises that will stimulate the vagus nerve include breathing techniques, specific yoga positions, chanting, and ear massage. Stimulating this nerve on a regular basis can help reduce stress and improve your overall well being.
2. Become a Fitness Instructor
Of course, if you already have a strong foundation of fitness knowledge, you may want to continue learning more so you can help others on their way to a fitter lifestyle. If becoming a fitness instructor is something that appeals to you because you are passionate about good physical health and sharing your knowledge with others, then now may be a great time to consider making fitness an even bigger part of your life. Becoming a fitness instructor is actually relatively straightforward as long as you are persistent in reaching your end goal. You will need to earn an aerobics instructor certification first and then you can begin establishing a client base. As you teach others more about fitness, you will continue learning more about it yourself as well.
3. Learn the Science
There is a lot of science behind fitness, and the more you know about it, the better off you will be. As you further your personal fitness education, you will learn exactly what physical fitness does for you and your body, how it works, and how to make necessary changes to meet your personal goals. Don’t shy away from the learning process either because the science behind fitness is not all that difficult to learn and understand, as long as you are consulting trustworthy and reputable sources that are well versed in all things fitness. Then you will be on your way to a much more detailed understanding of fitness and its importance to your overall health.

I love to fitness. Of course I also need to because of my lung disease, but I like to be as fit as possible. At home I exercise with the telly on, that’s a great distraction.

I just like my yoga as fitness bu definitely at home! Or walking outside. That’s about all I do! But I should start adding some more cardio at home soon. If I am to survive this winter, I need to do something to distract myself and stay healthy!

That is a great daily goal, Suzanne. I can’t commit to classes either so I mostly focus on YouTube yoga sessions in my bedroom!
