Fat Guy in a Little Coat and My New Green Dress

If you follow me on Instagram, then you have already seen my new green dress…the dress I actually wore on Easter Sunday. If you don’t follow me on Instagram, then you really should! Also, if you have been following along, you know that we have recently moved to a smaller house. And I just want to tell you that I feel like a fat guy in a little coat trying to jam 3,000 square feet of stuff into a 2,000 square foot house!

We have gotten rid of a lot of stuff, too. And I did a massive closet clean out which has resulted in 10 huge boxes of clothing and shoes ready to be photographed and posted on Poshmark. So stay tuned for that…I provided the link right to my Poshmark closet (twice) for your ease!

So for the past week, I have been wearing sweatpants and tee shirts (sometimes pajama pants, too) and have been a disheveled mess! No photographs have been taken except for the one which was a result of Amy challenging me to photograph myself in my moving-mess state! But you would have to go check out Instagram if you want to see that one! For blog purposes, I will just share pictures of my put-together self in my new green dress!

Oh, and check out this adorable starfish necklace I just picked up last weekend while visiting Pennsylvania for the Easter holiday. On Saturday I found myself kid-free when the husband and his father took the children shopping. So I spent the afternoon strolling through the town of Jim Thorpe. There are a bunch of cute little shops and I found some great things. This starfish necklace is one of them…I bought it from The Gem Shop, an adorable boutique which is after my own heart (they actually carried some of the same exact pieces that I have in Shelbee’s Shoppe)! They have two locations, one in Jim Thorpe and one in Bethlehem. So if you are ever visiting either place, do stop and check them out!

Anyway, back to my life right now…We still have lots to do in the new house before I can relax and get back into a normal routine. We also have to head over to the old house this week and clean. Moving out really makes all the dirt visible! So I am going to skip my link ups again this week…I do apologize. I am so exhausted and completely overwhelmed.
