Cold Weather Coziness with Ethyl Clothing

This is outfit was provided to me for purposes of this review. As always, all thoughts and opinions are entirely my own.

It is that time of year when the weather in Northern New York just turns kind of crummy. While the fall foliage is absolutely stunning up here, it lasts for a very short period of time and before we know it we are buried in snow until some time in May. And as you are all probably well aware by now, I get so damn stinking cold when the temperatures drop below 50. I honestly don’t know how I am going to survive this winter if we hit our typical temperatures of 20 to 40 degrees below zero.

When Ethyl Clothing invited me to try out some of their fall pieces, I quickly decided on some of the warmest things I could find. I chose the Alyssa-Madison Jeans which are a super soft denim lined in a lightweight plaid flannel which peaks out in the most adorable manner if you cuff the hems. To pair with these fun jeans, I also chose the Mallory-Emersyn Sweater which is crafted from a super soft, plush fleece that feels very much like the coziest throw blanket you have ever wrapped around yourself.

If you are not familiar with Ethyl Clothing, let me share some background. The company was founded by Kathy and Alan Shultz over 30 years ago and they continue to design the line themselves. Ethyl Clothing is currently distributed to and sold in over 3,000 independent boutiques in the United States. The Ethyl Clothing line is designed as a vanity sized brand, meaning the clothing is sized one size larger than a standard fit. All of the fabrics used in production of Ethyl Clothing are hand selected by Alan himself and manufactured in China. Originally, Ethyl Clothing was designed with a younger demographic in mind, but the brand continues to progress and develop with their customer base.

Ethyl Clothing takes pride in the time spent in selecting quality fabrics to create quality clothing with a superior fit for real women. With its main office and warehouse based in Seattle, this company holds itself to a higher standard as it continually strives to provide exceptional customer service to both its retail and wholesale customers. Not wanting to undersell the retail stores that carry the brand, Ethyl Clothing does not offer discounts to direct sale customers. However, they do offer free shipping on orders over $99 with a prepaid postage return label in every package that will allow you to process exchanges and returns with ease.

So far, my experience with Ethyl Clothing has been a very pleasant one. I am so really quite happy with the quality and style of the products that I received. Each item is also assigned a softness score so you know ahead of time what level of luxury to be prepared for! I cannot stress enough how incredibly soft and flexible these items are, not to mention so incredibly warm. I think I may have found a solution to these  dreadful cold flashes that have been tormenting me! I suspect this sweater will be on constant repeat all fall and winter long. And it is comfortable enough for lounging in as well! Seriously, go check out this brand. It is really quite fabulous!

Am I the only one who gets so dreadfully cold in the winter? Please give me all the super soft, warm, cozy, and stylish clothing!

Keeping it on the edge,

Shelbee
