Camo Booties with Gooseberry Red & Link Up On the Edge #90
I have been wanting camouflage booties ever since I saw Cherie of Style Nudge showcase these Jeffrey Campbell Siren Booties in her Shoe and Tell Link Up back in November.
While I still want these exact booties in the camo, I opted for this open toed version since Spring should be here soon.
But since Spring weather did not arrive with the Spring Solstice, I had to wear socks with my open toed shoes.

And after checking out the Nordstrom link to the Jeffrey Campbell booties, I saw that they come in these other amazing patterns, so I might have to change my mind about the camo. Um, hello, fabulous booties!
I also had some Old Navy Super Cash hanging around in my wallet, so I picked up this Hooded Twill Utility Jacket. I was drawn to the olive green color as I always am, but decided to go outside my comfort zone and chose the Gooseberry Red instead. I am so happy with the brighter color because I definitely need some brightness these next few days of impending dreary gloom set upon us by Mother Nature. And the color looks quite nice paired with olive green, too, in my opinion.
As you may already know, my muse seems to have taken an unexpected vacation, so that’s all I have for you today. An outfit and a link up. Fingers crossed that my muse returns soon…until then, have a wonderful weekend!

Osy of Style Diary by Osy shared her post, Casual All Black Look. She is so adorable in this easy outfit and I have to say I am a big fan of all black myself. I have been wearing quite a bit of it lately, too. I may be wanting to replicate Osy’s pretty ensemble one of these days, for sure!
And I have to feature Debbie of Fashion Fairy Dust with her post, Camo Tunic & OTK Boots: Impulse Shopper. Debbie had me at camo and dress extenders. Enough said. I am going to find a new dress extender for myself now. Impulse shopping indeed (no new cars for me though).

Jess, thanks so much for your kind compliments! I can definitely wear the heel, but I am unsure of how narrow they might be. Pointy toed shoes tend to squeeze my feet too much unless I can size up, but they are not available in the next size up. I think I need to check Amazon for them! Have a wonderful weekend!
