July is gone as fast as it came and now it’s time for August’s Good Buy/Good-Bye Book! Won’t you join us for another edition of Good Buys and Good-Byes. For this month, we have decided to feature one of my favorite summer time garments…Maxi Dresses! According to the Wikipedia page on Dresses, the term maxi dress has been in use since the 1960s in reference to ankle length dresses that are usually informal. But a formal ankle length dress would also be considered a maxi except I think we generally call long formal dresses gowns. However, it appears that a gown can be anywhere from knee to ankle length. Let’s not get hung up…
