What to Wear to a Fall Wedding with Rosegal (Take 2) & Link Up On the Edge #62
As promised in Tuesday’s post The September Issue: What to Wear to a Fall Wedding with Rosegal, I am showing the more traditional way of styling my olive green dress for a Fall wedding.
*This is a sponsored post. All thoughts and opinions are entirely my own.
I opted for the edgier element in the first styling of this dress with a wide black belt and combat boots. This time I decided to go to the other extreme and add that feminine appeal that comes with loads and loads of pearls and a sleek pair of patterned pumps.
*Dress: Plus Size Surplice Long High Low Formal Dress ($21.14) c/o Rosegal.
Keeping with the theme of Fall colors, I decided to use a burgundy bag rather than a traditional black clutch. I am pretty pleased with that little bit of color added to the olive, black, and white ensemble.
As much as I loved this dress paired with my black combat boots, I really do love the flirty and feminine swingability of the skirt with the pumps. If I knew how to dance at all, I would want to swish my way across a dance floor all night long!
I have so many more ideas for styling dress. I am thinking casual layers with a cozy sweater, over the knee socks, and boots. I haven’t quite figured it out yet, but don’t be surprised if you see this dress show up on my blog yet again.
I would love to know which way you like this dress better. With combat boots or pumps and pearls?
If you shop Rosegal, use code Rosegalxie at checkout for an additional 12% off your purchase.
The same dress is also available at Zaful and they are offering Free Shipping on every item! However, this promotion ends today, so order now!

Hi Shelbee – I was reading down through this post and was surprised to see my picture and my post featured. Thanks! I love this look so much. I also like the styling you did with the combat boots. But there is something about all those pearls that is so pretty and feminine. And the burgundy bag is the perfect touch!

I’ve always found olive green to be a very complimentary color on many skin tones. Perfect color for a fall wedding.
I’m going to a wedding this Sunday and thankfully I have a dress waiting in the wings that I wore to my son’s rehearsal dinner which was also in October that will be perfect as the wedding is going to be outside and it can be chilly in these here parts. lol.
Thanks for sharing.

Karen, thanks so much for stopping by and for sharing about your upcoming wedding event. Isn’t so nice to have a dress all ready for occasions like this? I have had it happen all too often when I am running around like crazy the week before trying to find the perfect outfit. I hope you have the most wonderful time on Sunday!
