The Good Buy/Good-Bye Book: Winter Coats & #SpreadTheKindness Link Up On the Edge #747
The gray days of January had us reaching for our scarves in February and now we are sharing our winter coats just before spring arrives.
The Good Buy/Good-Bye Book is a monthly series hosted by Nancy of Nancy’s Fashion Style and myself. Every month, we invite you to share a photo or two of your Good (or Bad) Buy items that fit the stated theme. We ask that you also provide a short description explaining if the item you are sharing was a Good Buy or one that you will be saying Good-Bye to (formerly known as Bad Buys). Nancy and I will both publish a round up post featuring all of the submissions on the 15th of each month.
Anyone who would like to participate and be featured can send us their photos with a short description via email. You do not have to be a blogger to join. Anyone is welcome! We will give you the theme for the next month at the conclusion of each post. Photos will be due to us by the 10th of the month.
If you sent me a photo, but do not see it in my post, be sure to check Nancy’s post. If you don’t see your photo in either post, please let us know right away and we will add it. Sometimes the submissions get lost in the shuffle.

I LOVE that pink shaggy coat! If you ever tire of it… no wait… I don’t need any more winter coats!
I loaded up a bunck of links this time. And I have yet to compose my Winter Coats post. It’ll happen at some point.
Now to think about rain gear…

If I ever tire of it, I am sending it your way! Ha. I have to find some rain gear, too. I need mud gear up here right about now! The rains are coming now bringing flood warnings and mud puddles galore!

Oh mud season. Ugh.
Stay dry!

Flood warnings today as the rains come and the snow melts with no where to go! I think mud season is my least favorite of all the North Country seasons!

Your True Self
Hi, Shelbee – Wow, it’s great to see all the ways you love your pink furry coat! I have a couple of teddy jackets I love. I wear the gray one all the time. The ivory one is beautiful but sheds too much unfortunately, so I only use it occasionally. Thanks for the link up – Angie, http://www.yourtrueselfblog.com

Thanks, Angie! Furry coats are so cozy in the coldest parts of winter, aren’t they? I hope you are well and enjoying the weekend, my friend!

I absolutely love your pink coat on that green! Totally in love with that look. Aren’t those coats the best!

Thanks, Nancy! I do love the big, fuzzy, furry, warm coats especially with the crazy cold weather here!

I am still quite new to sharing with this link-up, but I just today realized the “good-bye” part of the topic. Since most of my clothes are farm working clothes and mostly denim, they mostly fit in that cotagory LOL! Thanks for hosting Shelbee, it is always fun to see what everyone is up to. Have a great week ahead, Melynda @scratchmadefood!
shelbeeontheedge@gmail.com
Thanks so much, Melynda! Nancy and I spun this series after a similar one that we both participated in many years ago. It was hosted by two other bloggers and can’t even remember who they were but it basically featured just the Good Buy part. They stopped doing their series so Nancy and I decided to pick it up but change it a bit. It started as The Bad Buy Book in 2017. We did that for a year and then changed it to The Good Buy/Good-Bye Book in 2018 so the could feature good or bad buys. And here we are, still at it all these years later!

What a fun bunch of winter coats on all of the participants! You’re pink, fuzzy coat is fantastic and faux fur is the greatest for the coldest part of winter-and so cozy. Thanks for hosting the link up and hope you have a great weekend!
shelbeeontheedge@gmail.com
Thanks, Di! As much as I love my cozy coats, I am so ready to put them away for the season. But we still have more snow coming this week!

I adore that coat, and my mom has one very similar. In fact, she will be wearing it this upcoming Thursday on my blog. It really is so fabulous.

I wish I had a really neat coat like any of these! I just have boring puffers, but I try to get different colors. One of these days, I’m going to find the perfect beautiful winter coat! Thanks for the link up, my friend!

Aww, thanks, Marsha. My coat addiction only happened when I moved this winter tundra. When I have to wear a coat for more than half the year, I need interesting options or else I will get entirely too bored!

You truly know how to style a winter coach. Very nice. Thanks for hosting and I hope that you have a wonderful week.

Thanks so much, Patrick! When you need to wear a coat for more than half the year, you get good at styling them! LOL
