The Good Buy/Good-Bye Book: Something New
Welcome to The Good Buy/Good-Bye Book!
This is The Good Buy/Good-Bye Book. A series that I co-host with Nancy where you can choose whether you want to share a Good Buy (which is an item you are really exited about) or a Good-Bye (which is an item you are going to say good-bye to, previously known as a Bad Buy). Every month you can choose which item you want to submit. A Good Buy or a Good-Bye. We will provide the theme for each month. Photos should be submitted to us by the 10th of the month with a few sentences explaining why it is a Good Buy or Good-Bye.
The theme for January is Something New.
*If you sent me a photo, but do not see it in my post, be sure to check Nancy’s post. If you don’t see your photo on either post, please let us know right away and we will add it. Sometimes the submissions can get lost in the shuffle.

The plaids don’t line up, it doesn’t have pockets (seriously, all garments need pockets!), but it layers well, the skirt is swoosh-tastic and I adore plaid. Will it be a Good Buy or a Good-Bye? It’s too soon to tell!”

The theme for February’s Good Buy/Good-Bye Book will be Winter Layers. This could be anything from a coat to a heavy cardigan to a cozy turtleneck or anything else that you might wear layered in the winter.
Won’t you join us next month with some of your favorite (or least favorite) Winter Layering Items. You can even send two photos if you’d like to be featured on both blogs. Remember to include a brief description about your submissions. SO many fun new things! I’m just raking in the new things now with a bunch of after season sales. It’s pretty rare for me to get clothes at Christmastime (other than my Christmas sweater this year that I definitely think I’ll be making a tradition now).

Thanks, Joanne! I love the end of the season sales! I just did some sale shopping myself…which I should not have…but I did it anyway. I sometimes just cannot resist the sales. And I also really benefit from a good retail therapy session! I love the tradition of adding a new holiday sweater each year!
