We are a few days late in posting this month’s Good Buy/Good-Bye Book because Nancy was on holiday in the UK. Lucky gal! But now it is time to share some peeping toes! Thank you to everyone who participated with us this month. We appreciate you!

Welcome to The Good Buy/Good-Bye Book!

The Good Buy/Good-Bye Book is a monthly series hosted by Nancy of Nancy’s Fashion Style and myself. Every month, we invite you to share a photo or two of your Good (or Bad) Buy items that fit the stated theme. We ask that you also provide a short description explaining if the item you are sharing was a Good Buy or one that you will be saying Good-Bye to (formerly known as Bad Buys). Nancy and I will both publish a round up post featuring all of the submissions on the 15th of each month.

Anyone who would like to participate and be featured can send us their photos with a short description via email. You do not have to be a blogger to join. Anyone is welcome! We will give you the theme for the next month at the conclusion of each post. Photos will be due to us by the 10th of the month.

If you sent me a photo, but do not see it in my post, be sure to check Nancy’s post. If you don’t see your photo in either post, please let us know right away and we will add it. Sometimes the submissions can get lost in the shuffle.

“These are actually the only peeptoes I still have. Well, I have espadrilles with open toe, but does that count? These are my favourite summer shoes (ankle boots actually). I adore peeptoe ankle boots. And I have these for years. The leather is so soft and the colour gorgeous! And they match fantastic with this dress. Definitely a very Good Buy!”

“This outfit with the red, white and black pattern mix, I am wearing a pair of black suede low wedge heel peep toe sling backs. They have been in my closet for a long time and have worn really well. I consider them a good buy because although I don’t wear them often, they are basic with an interesting buckle detail and go with a lot of outfits. Plus they are so comfortable they are like wearing slippers. Big win!”

“I have more peep toes than just these pink retro ones but I think these are my faves. Mainly because they were only $5 and the leather is incredibly soft. Heck, I wrote a post creating 5 vibes with them. This look is my Parisian vibe –monochromatic outfit.”

“I don’t really have many peep-toes unless you count sandals, and had passed over this month’s Good Buy/Good-Bye theme – uh, light bulb moment! I dug through my summer shoes and looked at all my sandals, but brr, it felt too cold! However, when my eyes alit upon these open-toe Sorel sandals? Booties? I’m not even sure what I’d call them? I knew that these would work.”

“These open toe shoes were a good buy as I chose these to do the I walk a mile in her shoes. The YWCA puts on this event every year in support of abused women and I walked the mile in these shoes and my feet still felt great at the end of the day.”

I have had these red peep toe sandals for many, many years. The wedge heel and fabric construction make them very comfortable. Definitely a Good Buy.”

“Another pair of peep toe shoes that I have had for years are these metallic pink heels. They are so cute and sassy but terribly uncomfortable because the heel is just a bit too high for my feet. I keep them around, however, to wear for special occasions that require mostly sitting. They are too darn pretty to part with and they aren’t unbearable!”
