Believe in Your Selfie
I suppose the message on my graphic tee speaks volumes, especially for fashion bloggers. A powerful message deserved an edgy look to go with it. So I layered a long plaid button down shirt on top in a traditional blackwatch plaid which is reminiscent of 90’s grunge. My graphic tee is in a very pale shade of blue which contrasted nicely against the darker blues and greens in the plaid. Dark wash skinny jeans, distressed lace-up booties, and layered thin necklaces completed my edgy look. Do you have any graphic tees that really speak to you? If so, what do they say? Mad About Plaid and a Graphic Tee
The combination of jeans, tee or tank layered under a plaid button front shirt, and sneakers is one of my favorite lazy day outfits. Perfect for playdates, errands, or just hanging around the house. Too Hot for Clothes! (Part 1 of some…)
I know most fashion bloggers and their followers are ready for Fall at this point in the summer. And I know everyone loves when Summer rolls around again and they can shed their layers and bring their sandals back into rotation. But I am one who would be superbly happy if it remained Fall for 12 months a year. In fact, I have been ready for Fall and planning my Fall outfits since mid-May! My perfect temperatures are between 45 and 65 degrees Fahrenheit. Once the temperature starts closing in on 70 degrees, I am uncomfortable, hot, and cranky, and I start the countdown to cooler days. Lunch and Errands
Today, after I dropped the kids at daycare, I had a few hours to run some errands and enjoy a leisurely lunch with my best friend E and my mother-in-law. The weather is starting to cool down a bit, so it was the perfect opportunity to try out my new “real” boyfriend jeans.
