Are you feeling blue? I hope so! Because it is time to share your favorite (or least favorite) wardrobe items in Shades of Blue.
What is The Good Buy/Good-Bye Book?
The Good Buy/Good-Bye Book is a monthly series hosted by Nancy of Nancy’s Fashion Style and myself. Every month, we invite you to share a photo or two of your Good (or Bad) Buy items that fit the stated theme. We ask that you also provide a short description explaining if the item you are sharing was a Good Buy or one that you will be saying Good-Bye to (formerly known as Bad Buys). Nancy and I will both publish a round up post featuring all of the submissions on the 15th of each month.
Remember anyone who would like to participate and be featured can send us their photos with a brief description via email. You do not have to be a blogger to join. Anyone is welcome! We will give you the theme for the next month at the conclusion of each post. Photos for Shades of Blue will be due to us by the 10th of this month.
I am certain that nearly everyone owns something blue. Polls have shown that the color blue is the most commonly chosen “favorite color” by people worldwide. Won’t you join us to celebrate your favorite Shades of Blue.

Clearly, I wear many different shades of blue fairly frequently because the color is everywhere! So get out your bluest things, take some photos, and share them with us!

I wonder if there is any person who hates blue so much that they own nothing in the color. It seems impossible, doesn’t it? Oooh, a new teaching gig! I bet you are super fun to have as an instructor!

I mean, JEANS! Denim defaults to blue. Hahahaha.
I’m teaching a very technical class in Illustrator on how to draw garment flats (those little line drawings on the back of sewing patterns). And I’m VERY STRICT! The students probably don’t think I’m much fun, but they’ll thank me later after they graduate, are working in the industry, and have to draw flats all day.

Denim will definitely do its duty for this blue prompt! And don’t most people own at least a little bit of denim? I like your strict approach to teaching. All things in our world have become much to lackadaisical and the students will definitely thank you when they know how to do their jobs!

Thanks so much, Jill! That gingham pants outfit is one of my favorites ever! But I don’t think I have kept any of the pieces because they no longer fit me properly or suit my current style aesthetic. But I still love the occasional preppy look!
