Military Inspired with Real Combat Boots
I have always had an obsession with military inspired clothing since long before I ever met and fell in love with a military man. I have sort of become tired of all things camouflage, but I still adore my black Army tanker boots that were a gift from my husband years ago. And I still have a weakness for Army green. And I definitely have a huge crush on stripes right now. So why not pair a black and white stripe sweater with an Army green field jacket and combat boots? Throw on a scarf to keep it feminine and I have created one of my favorite looks so far this season!
Do you have an old clothing obsession that has stayed with you forever? Have you tried the military inspired trend? If so, I would love to hear in the comments.
Keeping it on the edge,

I love stripes too! I almost always have them on, if only on my socks! I never thought of a scarf w them honestly, and two shades of green, but I really like it! Much better to see it on, if I layed that out it wouldnt look the same! Thanks!

Thank you, Aimee! This one I definitely had to play with a bit to get it where I felt right! And I keep forgetting to lay out the outfits for photos before I toss everything in the hamper at the end of the day! Would you please continue to remind me to do this! Thanks.

I love stripes and olive together! So cool you have a pair of real military boots. Great casual fall look!

Thanks so much, Jennie! I love real military boots instead of just military-inspired. They are so much more authentic when you are going for a military look (as long as all of your other pieces are only inspired, otherwise, you might just look like a soldier!) 🙂 Thanks for stopping by!

What a great outfit! I love the mix of masculine/feminine in it. The military jacket and combat boots blend so well with the scarf and striped shirt!

You’re so sweet to keep up that big button! I can’t figure out how to make it smaller. I’ve had a link up for awhile now and just figured out how to even make a button. Tech is not my strong suit. Anyway, love this look and I plan on copying it soon! 😉

Thank so much, Dawn Lucy!
Technology is killing me right now! All of my pictures get all turned sideways on certain servers due to coding issues which are completely beyond my level of comprehension! I have always considered myself an intelligent woman, but when it comes to technology these days, I feel like a downright moron! So, know that you are not alone in the technology struggle and be proud that you even figured out how to make a button! It’s the little things that count even if the little things are big buttons!

Love it! I’ve been rocking my cargo jacket with all of this in between weather, too!
