The ultimate classic outfit. We all need those easy outfit formulas that always work for those days when our creativity may be taking a rest. While I love playing dress up every day and enjoy a fun pairing of unlikely pieces to create some wild outfits, I have just as many days when I don’t feel like thinking about what I am going to wear. Those are the days when I rely on no-fail outfit combinations. Because even when my creativity may be sleeping, I still want to feel great in what I am wearing.

One of my favorite no-fail combinations is distressed jeans, a tee shirt, a blazer, and statement shoes. I mean, who doesn’t love a classic jeans and tee shirt combination anyway? But I certainly don’t want to be boring in just any old jeans and tee shirt. I like to amp it up a bit. The contrast of distressed denim with a tailored blazer creates a beautiful dichotomy of style genres that literally always works.

Cheryl is like a blogging guru, first making her appearance in the blogging world back in 2003. That is some serious staying power! Which is understandable because Cheryl always offers up a delicious concoction of lovely outfit confections, breathtaking travel posts, informative beauty and wellness posts, and all around inspiring content with a focus on women over 40 and how we can all live our best lives.

Always with a bright and beaming smile that sends rays of happiness and joy directly through my computer screen, Cheryl has an amazing flare for creating classic and comfortable styles that any woman can recreate from similar pieces in her wardrobe. With a focus on timeless staples with a little boho twist, Cheryl hasn’t worn an outfit yet that I haven’t loved. But she is not just a gorgeous outfit and a glowing smile. Cheryl has a quick wit which comes through in comments and blog posts, a wonderful sense of humor, and an overall passion for life in general that is simply contagious.
