Fall Florals, Jewel Tones, and Thursday Moda Link Up

Today, I am honored to be co-hosting the Thursday Moda Link Up hosted by the lovely Ada of Elegance and Mommyhood. I was so flattered when Ada emailed asking me if would be interested in co-hosting her fabulous weekly link up. This was my defining moment of feeling like a legit blogger! So thank you, Ada, for that very important affirmation.

I want to use this opportunity also to thank all of the blogging community and the amazing women (and men) I have met along this journey. You have all been so tremendously supportive of me and of each other. And it is so appreciated and definitely does not go unnoticed. I really love how everyone is so willing to help out fellow bloggers with the beautiful comments and compliments given to one another, the safety of being able to reach out with technical questions and receive very quick and helpful responses, and the loyal readers who return to my blog week after week and participate in my own weekly link up. For all of this, I am so, so thankful.

I created this blog as an outlet to express myself creatively through style, fashion, and writing. And I have gained so much more. I have found camaraderie with like-minded people who share similar interests and passions. And I have been able to share my own experiences in life with the hopes of helping others. From response I have received, it seems that perhaps I have already helped a few. And from my perspective, that makes me feel successful.

Now…onto the outfit. I am so ready for Fall! But it is still hanging in the upper 70’s with a tremendous amount of humidity in the air. For the awkward transitional weather, I have been wearing autumnal hues in lighter weight fabrics. Like this mustard and plum floral blouse. I scored this last year on major clearance from JCPenney. A pair of white distressed skinny jeans and these fabulous plum suede booties (also scored on major clearance last year from the Aerosoles Outlet) complete this outfit.
