7 Ways to Surprise Your Disney-Loving Friends & Link Up On the Edge #312
Do you have any Disney-loving friends who seem impossible to shop for? If you’re struggling to find the perfect gift ideas for them, never fear. I am here to offer some out-of-the-box ideas that are sure to put a smile on the face of any Disney-lover. Walt Disney once said, “It’s kind of fun to do the impossible.” And that is precisely what I intend to show you how to do today – how to surprise your Disney-obsessed friends with magical gifts they will never forget. Check out these 7 Disney-inspired ideas that are sure to delight any Disney-loving friend on your gift giving list.
1. El Capitan Theatre
What better way to surprise your BFF than with tickets to see their favorite Disney movie at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood? The El Capitan is an iconic movie palace that first opened its doors in 1926. It has since been restored to its former glory and now shows first-run Walt Disney Studios films as well as special event screenings.
2. Disneyland
If your friend is more of a theme park aficionado, why not treat them to a day at Disneyland? You can purchase tickets online in advance and there are also options to include transportation from select locations.
3. Collectible Figurines
For the ultimate Disney fan, how about a set of collectible figurines? The Disney Store has a wide variety of these collections available, ranging from classic characters like Mickey Mouse to modern favorites like Frozen. They also have several different sizes to choose from so you can find the perfect gift that fits your budget.
4. Personalized Mouse Ears
Another great option for the Disneyland fans in your life is a pair of personalized mouse ears. You can choose from a variety of colors and styles and even have them monogrammed with your friend’s initials. If you are looking for something a little more unique, there are also many independent sellers on Etsy who offer custom-made mouse ears.
5. Disney-Themed Jewelry
For something a little more personal, why not give the gift of Disney-themed jewelry? There are many different options available from delicate charm bracelets to statement necklaces. Or if you have a friend who is a diehard Moana fan, this Maui Fish Hook Necklace would be sure to please them.
6. Disney Bounding Outfits
If you have a friend who loves to play dress up, consider creating a Disney bounding outfit for them. For the uninitiated, Disney bounding is when you dress up like a specific character from a Disney movie using items you already have in your closet. There are many great tutorials and resources available online for creating your own Disney bounding look.
7. Home Decor
For the friend who loves to decorate, there are many magical Disney-themed home decor items available on the market. You can find everything from wall art to throw pillows to coffee mugs. If you want to get really creative, you could even put together a whole room themed around your friend’s favorite Disney movie.
These are just a few fun ideas to get you started on your Disney shopping adventure. Do not be afraid to think creatively and let your imagination soar and you will certainly discover even more unique Disney-inspired gift ideas. Whatever you decide, I am certain that your Disney-loving friends will be surprised and delighted at your thoughtfulness and gift-giving wizardry.

I never visited Disney land let alone Disney world. I do love these kind of parks especially rollercoasters!

I have been to Disney World 3 times in my life and that is plenty for me! I don’t like amusement parks at all and rollercoasters make me queasy. Haha.

I have a sister who used to go to Disney World three or four times a year and stay in one of the resorts. She still takes the Disney cruises. We went about four or five years ago and that’s probably going to be it for me!

I know some folks who also go to Disney World on a regular schedule, too. Maybe not 3 or 4 times a year (that’s a lot!), but annually at least. My counselor is one of them…she goes every year with her mom and her close friends who own my favorite diner ever…so the diner shuts down for a week and I schedule my therapy appointments accordingly. I have been to Disney World 3 times, when I was 5, 16, and 23. And that is quite enough for me. I don’t like amusement parks, rides, or crowds of people! My kids have asked to go and told them they go when they are old enough to go without me!

Love this. My 22 year old special needs daughter is a Disneyfile! Did I just make up that word?
shelbeeontheedge@gmail.com
Thanks, Lauren! You may have just made up a new word! And what a great word it is! I did a quick search and found it in the Urban Dictionary…a Disneyphile is “not your average Disney fan”!
